Please read the Porter Pickup policies before placing your order. By placing your order through the online store, you agree to these policies.

Order Policies

Return Policy-

We DO NOT offer refunds for our pickups, only returns or exchanges within 15 days of receiving your order. We want you to be happy with your tone, and will gladly exchange your pickups for another model, or wind them to different specs. This policy is due to the small custom shop nature of our business, and the fact that there are many other factors involved in the customers tone, like their playing, amp and other gear. Good pickups aid in the sound you produce, they don't make you a better player. We like to spend the time matching pickups to your instrument and playing style ahead of the order, and nearly all of our orders meet or exceed customers expectations because of this. Contact us ahead of orders, or directly after your order to help us understand what you are looking for.

 

Custom Pickups-

We DO NOT offer returns OR exchanges on custom pickup purchases. A custom pickup is defined as anything not available for sale on our website. This is due to the extended time and research custom pickups take.

 

Warranty

We offer a warranty of 1 year on all Porter Pickups purchases. We stand by our work, and will fix pickups that may have been damaged in shipping, or arrived dead. That said, any evidence of tampering, short lead wires, or other damage WILL NOT be covered in the warranty. This includes any modification done to the pickups, and other damage to the bobbins or covers. We do fix pickups on request past the 1 year warranty and have reasonable rates.
