Porter Pickups - Custom Series New!
The Porter Anthem Humbuckers
feature your choice of bobbin colors or metal covers at no additional
cost. With these pickups, you also have your choice of 4 different
magnet types. Much of the information surrounding the first humbucker
designs is that they randomly used AlNiCo II, III, IV and V bar magnets
before eventually settling on AlNiCo V. For this reason, we feature
AlNiCo V magnets in the pickups as a standard option, but you can
choose other magnets in either position for your own custom tone.
The Porter Anthem Humbuckers make new guitars sound like old guitars,
and give you the vintage tones you hear on the old recordings. They
accurately translate your playing and respond well to different guitar,
amp, and effect types without losing their clarity and punch.
