The Porter 9T neck gives you a nice clear and full tone without getting too muddy or too twangy. It will still provide the P90 “push” but remains thick in the mix.

The Porter 9T bridge pickup gives you that huge P90 tone without any extra modifications to your guitar. The 9T bridge is very aggressive and will drive the amp harder.  The 9T bridge responds well to volume changes and clean up as you roll the knob down. We like to run these pickups at different heights depending on the results and aggressiveness you want.

The Porter 9T Set works particularly well to tame otherwise bright or harsh guitars. Turn it up!

We DO NOT RECOMMEND ADJUSTING THE POLES ON THESE SETS DUE TO THE MAGNETS BEING FRAGILE UNDERNEATH THE PICKUPS

    Simply Amazing

    I have started to write this review more than once and I seem to get hung up on the word indescribable. The neck P90, cleverly disguised as a single coil, delivers the warmest tones imaginable. The bridge single coil is punchy and provides plenty of killer twang. Here's where it gets interesting. Together the T90 bridge and neck creates a sound like no other. Indescribable. Not to mention that they look amazing.

    Porter 9T bridge pickup

    Love it!!!

    I wanted more body to my Telecaster bridge pickup so I ordered a 9T and I also asked if they could overwind it just to be sure and it sounds exactly how I wanted it to!

    Also the poles are adjustable so that’s a plus!

    Stellar pickups!

    First off, they are a quality build, and you could tell from the packaging and presentation when my shipment arrived. As soon as I put these in my tele, I found myself playing the guitar constantly. It really made the guitar come alive and they agree with any rig I plug into. Definitely recommend!

    Serious Improvement

    This replaced a SD five-two in the neck of a scratch-built T style guitar with a humbucker in the bridge. The previous pickup was a bit woody and underpowered for that setup, and this pickup fixed that issue! I initially found it a bit bright but once I adjusted resistor values so that the pickup sees about 300k, it's perfect. Nice and warm clean tones, and it breaks up just right.
